Finally The Rock Talks About the Banning of Horrific Scene and More

While we know, Hobbs and Shaw, the latest addition to the Fast and Furious Franchise, is going to be a blockbuster due to the inclusion of Dwayne Johnson, aka ”The Rock” and Jason Statham, there is only little discussed about behind the scenes and more by the cast and team members who have been behind this mega-project all day long straight for months. Sometimes, in order to entertain the audience, actors may have to face the hardship one may be unable to think about.

MPAA does not like violent scenes

Until a few weeks ago, there was a rumor surfacing the internet about the banning of a horrific scene performed by The Rock which later proved to be true. However, no official response by the directorial panel led to the frustration among the fans who absolutely disliked the silence of the makers. But recently, The Rock has opened up about the possible reason that caused the removal of the scene from the film by the MPAA authorities.

In order to clarify the things, Dwayne Johnson took it Twitter explaining the reason behind the deletion and posted a few visuals of the scene. The former wrestler said, “MPAA rating board forbid us to show it because it was too violent. True story”. Johnson further added, “Plus, anytime you see a Samoan in a fight wearing their Lava Lava (traditional fabric I’m wearing around my waist) you know the other person is getting f***ed up.”

It seems that the star actor, whose pictures have gone viral on the internet wearing Dwayne Johnson Hobbs and Shaw Black Vest in a scene from the trailer, has not been happy with MPAA’s decision. But obviously, the big guy could do nothing other than just inform the fans about the authenticity of the news.

Creating The Greatest

On the other hand, while speaking a bit about the film, Johnson told the Entertainment Weekly, ”The overall goal was ‘Let’s create the greatest and worst bad guy the Fast & Furious franchise has ever seen. That’s a very high bar, considering who we’ve had in the past. So when Charlize [Theron, who starred in 2017’s The Fate of the Furious] reads this, I’m going to get a text from her like, ‘Dude, what the f—! No one’s better than me!’ And I’m going to say, ‘I love you, but…’”

Now when the release date is nearing, the action-packed film is ready to break all the records set by the previous films under the banner of The Fast and The Furious franchise, which has been securing a good amount of money ever since its foundation.
